Just come back from Marine Geology Course in the North Sea, first offshore experience completed on the board of the R/V Senckenberg. Hydroacoustic tools are not a mystery anymore :) Data processing and interpretation were conducted at the Department of Marine Science (Senckenberg am Meer, Wilhelmshaven). We could also visit tidal mud flat (very directly!) and Oil and Gas Storage (salt caverns) in Etzel, impressive installation.

Meanwhile, reading articles before studies in Svalbard and preparing to the another job on a research vessel. Offshore summer!
